December Updates - Puppies are now about 4 months old in these pictures

Molly (Colorado)

Here's what Nicole had to say about Molly.

Molly is doing really well. She and Matilda love to play together. She's adjusted well to her crate and sleeping allll night! She's doing very well with the potty training. She's absolutely wonderful....soo full of love and energy - Nicole

Cody (Ohio)
Cody's parents sent me an update and some new pictures of Cody. Thank you!!

Here's what they had to say! Looks like he is really growing fast!He is the one of the left.. what a doll!

On Friday he went to the Vets for his shots. He was such a good boy once again! He sat like a good boy and even wagged his tail for Dr. Ober! Of course he gave him a dog treat right away and said he was very good. He weighed in at 14lbs and his ears and everything checked out great. This weekend Cody and Jenny finally came to an understanding that they both belong here, are both loved and cared for, and could finally share "THE PILLOW". They were so cute. They snuggled and played for hours. - Ingrid

Jake (Arizona)
Jake is doing great! Here are some recent pictures of him in Arizona. What a great looking dog he has turned out to be!

Harley (Illinois)

Harley is doing great! Here he is! Pam says that he is adorable and is such a good pup! They have truly enjoyed their new addition to the family! I believe Thunder (their black lab) is pretty happy about the arrangment too!

Now how cute is this? Harley is sleeping on his new buddy, Thunder!! Too cute! H

Harley(Indiana)
Here's what Vicki had to say about Harley....

Harley is doing great, growing so fast, he weighs 15lbs as of today (Dec 7th). He lost a couple of front baby teeth today. He had his first romp in the snow,he doesn't stay out too long. We noticed he is a little cold natured and loves any warm spot he can find, including the dryer after it shuts off. LOL He is a major snuggler and definitely a lap dog. - Vickie

Updates

Harley (Illinois) is doing GREAT in his new home! They said he is just so full of life and a little lover. They seemed extremely pleased with his demeanor and said that everything is going great!

I received an email from Cody's family (Ohio)and here is a little bit of what they had to say about Cody. "I just wanted to update you on Cody. He is just so sweet and so much fun to have around! Jenny loves to play with him .(All day long!) Their favorite game is tag. Cody "tags" Jenny then runs like crazy around the house until he finds a place to hide. Jenny will find him then "tag" he's it! Then of course
the chase is on! They also love to lay in the sun, chew on raw hides,
and generally get into as much mischief as possible. They are a great
pair and we are so happy to have them in our family!"

I talk to Jake's (Arizona) mom via email often and he is keeping them entertained as well. He also has a great demeanor and seems to be doing wonderful! Looks as if Jake is quite comfortable and very happy in Arizona!

Harley (Indiana) is also doing great...here's some of what Vicki had to say about Harley.

"Harley is doing great... omy gosh he is sooooooooo smart..... My son is teaching him so many tricks. He sits, speaks,l ays down( head down on floor), rolls over and bounces on his back two legs. Of course, all for a treat! He is a wonderful lil' dog. He is getting bigger too, loves to eat(4 times a day)LOL. "

CoCo (my house) is also doing great! She is absolutely adorable and we have enjoyed having her so much! I am afraid that when it is time for her to go to her new home and being that she is the last one left - I am going to really have a hard time! :)
CoCo is allowed to come in the house and play with the girls. This is her favorite time of the day obviously!

Amos and Zoe are loving life! They have finally become King and Queen of the throne again and get spoiled rotten every day. Amos has even been sleeping in the house next to our bed every night and is able to hang out in the house while we are gone. He is a pretty happy dog!

Zoe's doing great - still a lot of weight to loose - but we are working on that. It's funny - because she still is so protective of CoCo. As soon as CoCo is taken away - Zoe is very unhappy! She will pace and pace and pace until she returns.

I love to hear updates on all the puppies - so please send them my way!

Harley has a new home...

Harley has a new home as of 8 am this morning. A lady from my work had shown interest in him a couple of weeks ago and agreed to get him this morning. We are beyond excited!!! He will have another playmate (a black lab named Thunder) to play with and a fenced in back yard. I am sure they will take great care of him and love him to pieces. I will post pictures of Harley and his new family as soon as he arrives there.

Thanks Vicki for the email on Boots "Your Harley". Vicki bought my Boots and named him Harley - they are from Indiana. Sounds like he is doing great! Vicki said that her "Harley" is doing all kinds of tricks and is very smart.

Happy Thanksgiving from all of us to all of you!!

Agh...things are finally getting back to normal...

After baths tonight - Amos and Zoe finally make their way back in where they usually spend the winter....the house! They were so happy - they didn't even want to play - they were just excited to be back on their leather couches with their mom and dad! They are such good dogs! Luke and I talked about them all through dinner...how well behaved they are and not hyper at all! I believe they have had enough of not getting "all" the attention.

So relaxed.....(Zoe - 2 yrs old)

Agh....finally rest time in my own house....with my own toys....(Amos - 6 yrs old)

CoCo- they came in for awhile too....

Harley - he loves inside!

"Itty Bitty"

Remember Itty Bitty? She was the runt of the litter. She was given to my mom as a gift from us. My mom and dad helped us so much to care for and watch after the litter while we were away at work! She is spoiled rotten and we love that she is only a few houses down and we can see her all the time. She is growing fast - but still pretty little. I imagine she will be about 11 in & about 15 lbs full grown.

Picture taken 11/14/06

This was taken on September 28, 2006. I just wanted to include one of her when she was little.

Buyers Reviews

*****The Westwood Beagle Pupppies

Hello to who ever is reading this. I would just like to share with you my experience on how it went when I bought my baby boy beagle Rico from Heidi. From the beginning to end she was very caring and concerned to make sure the puppy we bought would be shipped safely. She has very good communication with you and is eager to answer any questions that we had. Also, when we bought Rico we became like part of the family and when we talk it feels like I was talking to an old friend that I haven't seen in along time. If you decide to buy a puppy from Heidi, I can assure you that you will have a healthy quality pup that's ready to love you. As well as Heidi and her family!! She is an excellent caring person to do business with, and I'm glad to have met her! Thanks again Heidi for eveything, Rico and the rest of us send our love and God bless you and the family!! - The Mercado Family

*****Westwood Beagles
My experience with WestWood Beagles has been far better then I could ever expect. The pictures and up to date photos all gave me a positive reason to contact them. Their response was quick and so positive! They sent even more pictures and answered all my questions. We picked up our WestWood Beagle recently. Our puppy is beautiful, well cared for, and has an excellent personality. Heidi and Luke were so kind and transfered all paperwork with much knowledge and care. I appreciate their willingness to still exchange information about our puppy. They absolutely have gone out of their way to provide healthy, well cared for puppies, and gone out of their way to provide any information we need.

Two more puppies gone...

Another emotional day as we took two more puppies to the airport. Annie "Molly" was heading to Denver Colorado (and yes she arrived safe and sound) and Spot "Rico" was heading to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida (and he arrived safely too!) Yea! I cried like a baby at the airport - it is so hard to see them go. I am sure the guy at the terminal thought I was a nutcase since I just sat there sobbing....:) I know they are happy with their new owners and I am glad we found good homes for them!

Here is an updated picture of Harley - still looking for a good home for him and CoCo. Now that we have only two left - they are being spoiled rotten and have made themselves right at home (INSIDE the house). :) There was no way I could have all 8 in the house - but it is kind of nice to be able to spend some good, quality time with Harley and CoCo.

Cody leaves for Ohio.....

Well - another great home for our adorable puppies. Tom and Ingrid came today to pick up Cody. We couldn't believe how nice they were! There is absolutely no doubt, once again, that our Cody is going to a GREAT HOME! Congrats to Tom, Ingrid and their family on the new addition of Cody. He seemed to warm right up to them - which made me feel so comfortable. I had to walk away again so that they didn't see me cry - it's getting harder and harder to see them go.... Here are a couple of pictures of Cody and his new parents. I will keep posting updated pictures in Cody's box....

Updated pictures of puppies that are left...

We have 3 puppies left. Spot, Harley and CoCo. Note: Coco does have a broken tail on the tip, and is healing from some hair loss on her back. We have treated it, it is just taking some time to grow back in. She is so sweet though......CoCo is full of life and a big cuddler.

Miss CoCo ($150.00) - CoCo is a very playful black/tan beagle. She is full of life! However, she does have a broken tail which we noticed the first day she was born and she has had some patches of hair loss on her back. We have treated her and it is not contagious - just something that might take a couple of weeks to heal. It is not red or scaly or scabbing - just plain hair loss.
Harley - what a cutie. He has such great markings! (Price for him is $175.00) Harley is a doll! He loves to be played with and is so full of life! He is going to make someone a very HAPPY pet owner. Harley again..
"Spot" >((SOLD)) Spot "Rico" has been sold to a wonderful family in Florida! He will be heading there next week to meet his new family members! They are so nice! Spot again

Boots heads to Indiana..

Boots (Harley) got new owners today from Indiana. They were so nice and so excited to have him. I must admit - I got emotional once again. It's like shipping your kid off to camp. I have put so much time and effort into making these pups so lovable and good - that it is hard to see one go. Luke and I are assured that all so far have GREAT homes.... I will continue to use this box to update his pictures....

Harley (Boots) with his new toy....he looks pretty happy!!

Here's an updated picture of Boots (10/28/06) - looks like he has made himself right at home in Indiana!

10 1/2 weeks old ....

Cody was sold last night to a great family in Ohio. They have another beagle puppy -so he will have a playmate. We are so excited that he has a new, loving home to go to! He will be leaving us around the first of November.

Annie was sold to a lady in Colorado. We are also very excited about her new home in the Mountains! They also have a beagle and were looking for a playmate for her. Annie's new name will be "Molly"....She will leave our home the first of November!

Here are a couple of new pictures of Boots and Annie.
"Annie"

"Boots"

We have 5 left and have had several inquiries in the last two days. Hopefully we will be able to find all of them loving homes! We will most definetly miss them - but as long as they are loved on and played with - we will be happy!

New Pictures - We are 10 weeks old now!

These puppies are looking for good, loving homes! Please call if you are interested!

"I'm Boots" "I'm full of life and love to be played with! I have great markings as I am black all over with white boots and a white tipped tail"

"I'm Annie" (on the right) - a true black/tan - You just don't get much cuter than this! Harley (on the left) - this picture doesn't show his true beautiful markings - but he is a beauty! He is a black/tan/white beagle with a great "spunky" personality!

"I'm Spot" I love to be held and take walks! Spot has a great personality. He is the biggest of the litter - but has always been the best cuddler! He will make someone a great pet! He has the longest ears and that makes him that much cuter!

"I'm Cody!" I was sold to a family in Ohio. They have another beagle puppy - so I am anxious to meet my new playmate!
